Bible Character Night

Our goal is to teach your children about the Lord and His wonderful love for them.

What is Awana?

FUN! That’s how most boys and girls describe Awana club meetings. Awana meetings are brimming with life-enriching experiences for young people. They provide consistent positive teaching every week–training that stresses strong moral and spiritual values.

Awana exists for parents who appreciate the value of a wholesome peer group in their children’s lives. It’s an organization for those who want their kids to find peace–true peace–in a world that’s filled with unrest. Clubbers learn about the reality of God, the truth of the Bible, and respect for our nation’s freedoms. Awana plants seeds of wisdom while youths begin the process of becoming responsible adults. If that’s your concern, take a closer look at Awana. Come and visit us on Wednesday evenings, and it will be evident to you when you see the smiling and happy faces of all the children.

Awana Details

On Wednesday nights, Awana begins at 6:30 p.m. for all age groups. Cubbies (ages 3-4), Sparks (grade K-2), and TNT (grades 3-5) end at 7:30 p.m., while Trek and Journey (grades 6-12) end at 8 p.m. The club time is divided into segments.

Goofy Glasses Night

As the evening begins, clubbers will check in and say their handbook sections before gathering in the auditorium for the opening pledges. Please help your child be ready for Awana by encouraging them to memorize the sections in their handbooks each week. Clubbers are awarded points and Awana bucks for various activities such as learning Bible verses, bringing visitors, and game time participation. These Awana bucks may be used at the Awana store.

For the safety of your child during game time we recommend they wear tennis shoes and long pants. The final segment of Awana will be for the Bible story and presentation of awards. They will receive awards if they have their uniform and have completed the requirements for their badges and jewels.

You may pick up your child at the end of Awana at the covered sidewalk. We appreciate the opportunity to minister to your child this year. If you have any questions or if there is any way we can be of help to you or your family, please do not hesitate to let us know.
